Hotel Magdalena is looking for a seasonal Pool Attendant / Bartender who will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks to patrons, wait on bar patrons and serve items from the pool bar menu, and maintain cleanliness throughout the property including the Pool, Courtyard, public areas, Back of House, and exterior public space. Pool Attendants are also responsible for the restock of public bathroom guest amenities, pool guest amenities, and must ensure a thorough inventory control of these products.

Hotel Magdalena is looking for a seasonal Pool Attendant / Bartender who will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks to patrons, wait on bar patrons and serve items from the pool bar menu, and maintain cleanliness throughout the property including the Pool, Courtyard, public areas, Back of House, and exterior public space. Pool Attendants are also responsible for the restock of public bathroom guest amenities, pool guest amenities, and must ensure a thorough inventory control of these products.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school education preferable
• One (1) year related experience in hospitality or service industry
• Availability nights and weekends
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or guests
• Ability to understand computer programs (i.e. Property Management System, Point of Sale)
• Ability to apply concepts of math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and algebra, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Responsible for cleaning pool and pool deck as well as other public spaces
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
• Mix ingredients to prepare and garnish cocktails and other beverages according to Bunkhouse standards
• Serve snacks or food items to customers as requested or submit order to Kitchen
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
• Continually maintain inventory of pool towels, and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies in accordance with established par levels and timeframe
• Open, secure, and balance out shift banks to include the verification of all cash, credit card and room charge transactions during all shifts
• Maintain accuracy with all accounting and billing procedures
