We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Associate of Director of Events to lead our corporate and MICE segments, drive revenue growth, and consistently achieve predetermined targets.
In this strategic role, you will work closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other revenue-generating teams to maximize event profitability, enhance cross-departmental collaboration, and deliver exceptional experiences for corporate clients and event organizers. You will identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while nurturing repeat business, maintaining strong relationships with clients, event organizers, vendors, and bookers. Together with the Director of Events, you will lead and inspire a high-performing Events team comprising Events Managers, Executives, and Coordinators, driving results and fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualifications- Progressive career in Event Sales in a 5-star luxury property, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with individuals of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- Proven strengths in leadership, motivation, communication, and operational excellence
- High energy level with an entrepreneurial, results‑driven mindset
- Ability to drive revenue growth and improve the department’s financial performance
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
