Director of Event Operations

The Director of Event Operations oversees the entire banquet operation, including service and set‑up. This person is responsible for training and developing associates, providing a high level of service for our guests, and ensuring all functions are properly staffed and within budget.

  • Review all resumes and Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper staffing and ordering of food, beverage, and supplies.
  • Build a successful team that can accomplish the goals set for the event operations department.
  • Attend pre‑planning meetings and build relationships with event contacts.
  • Assist with weekly scheduling, payroll, and maintain strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Delphi, and other systems.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by the Assistant General Manager or Director of Event Management.

  • Prior leadership experience is required; experience with the specific brand hotel or upscale property is an added plus.
