Come join our Guest Service team as a full-time Bell Person! We are AT&T Hotel and Conference Center located in the heart of UT Campus, Hook 'em!
Individual must have AM and PM availability daily. The shift typically runs from 7 AM–3 PM and 2 – 10:30 PM.
Principles Responsibilities & Position PurposeTo provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative.
Essential Functions- Assist in transport and storage of guests' luggage to guest rooms and conference center
- Assist with guest packages when needed
- Properly log all trips with guest luggage
- Maintain a clean appearance of uniforms
- Be knowledgeable about all hotel amenities
- Have pleasant conversations with guests about hotel promotional programs
- Ensure cleanliness of bell closets and bell carts
- Answer phones in lower lobby when needed
- Welcomes and assists guests’ according to PLATNIUM SERVICE Standards.
- Provide an excellent first impression to guests
- Maintain a presence in the Front Drive throughout the shift hours
- Greet all guests courteously, using the guest’s name whenever possible
- Assist with the coordination of arrivals and departures on the front drive
- Demonstrates PLATINUM SERVICE Standards in all interactions.
- Remain observant and respond to each guest who passes through entrances.
- Assist housekeeping in maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel Lobby and entryway.
- Follow hotel’s telephone etiquette standards.
- Report suspicious people, behavior, and vehicles to Loss Prevention.
- Ensure adherence to Code of Ethics.
