Executive Housekeeper
A private family in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily care, cleanliness, and organization of their approximately 7,000-square-foot estate. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home, possess exceptional organizational skills, and be comfortable managing household systems, inventories, vendors, and special projects. This is a hands‑on role requiring a high level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
No relocation offered - local candidates only.
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday‑Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 40 hours guaranteed weekly. Flexibility is required, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and domestic and international travel. Schedule adjustments may occur with reasonable notice.
Compensation/Benefits: $40 per hour, W2, overtime pay, 2 weeks of PTO, sick days, paid major holidays, 100% employer‑paid health insurance, and an annual discretionary performance bonus.
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the entire property, including the main house, guest house, pool area, and boat house.
- Perform and oversee daily housekeeping, deep cleaning, and household organization.
- Manage all laundry operations, including washing, folding, ironing, wardrobe care, and coordinating dry cleaning.
- Change bed linens and maintain guest rooms to hospitality‑level standards.
- Monitor and replenish household inventories and supplies.
- Receive and organize deliveries and household purchases.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and other household staff.
- Assist with household errands and special projects as requested.
- Prepare the home for guests, family gatherings, and special events.
- Report maintenance, repair, safety, and security concerns promptly.
- Care for indoor plants and maintain designated outdoor living areas.
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel preparation.
- Travel with the family as needed and assist with temporary residence setup and upkeep.
- Prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper within a private home, with strong verifiable references.
- Strong housekeeping, laundry, and household management experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed, and flexible schedule with willingness to work weekends and holidays when required.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
