About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager (internally, Hotel Assistant Manager) to join our dynamic Rooms Team.

In this role you will oversee the Front Desk team and assist with Guest Services, Front Drive and Housekeeping teams to ensure guests have a smooth experience from booking through departure. You will train, motivate, and supervise staff, build a high‑profile department, and anticipate and customize guest needs.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Front Desk operations and support Guest Services, Front Drive, and Housekeeping teams.
  • Ensure guests receive a smooth and pleasant experience from booking through departure.
  • Train, motivate, and supervise front office staff.
  • Anticipate and customize guest needs before being asked.
  • Report to the Front Office Manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and rooms division, preferably with at least one year in a supervisory role and front‑desk knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and strong customer‑service skills.
  • Excellent communication, business acumen, and work ethic.
  • Ability to develop and grow employees into supervisory and management positions.
  • US work authorization required unless currently a Four Seasons manager eligible for L‑1 visa sponsorship.

Schedule & Hours

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, managers are expected to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
