Position Overview

The 1 Hotel Austin offers the position of Director of Front Office, a service‑oriented role responsible for training, supervising, and mentoring the opening team. The Director will interact with guests and lead by example, ensuring a consistent high standard of service, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

• Passionate about hotel operations and guest service in a luxury property with a minimum of 4 years of similar experience.
• Post‑secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of hotel operations, strong leadership, and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24‑hour operation.
• Prior experience in a luxury hotel brand.
