Hotel Front Desk, Guest Services
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Front Desk team at the Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional service and create memorable experiences for guests.
Responsibilities- Check guests in, ensuring proper credit and accurate information.
- Respond to special requests and resolve issues to "WOW" guests.
- Promote and sell special hotel programs and packages.
- Assist other departments and communicate pertinent information to the manager on duty.
- Maintain house bank and process billing and refunds.
- Follow posting, charging, cashing checks, safe deposits procedures.
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
- Interact professionally with all hotel staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong desire to make an impact on guests.
- Outgoing, engaging personality.
- Computer and POS skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Competitive hourly rate of $18‑$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and other standard hotel benefits.
