Responsibilities- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards.
- Change sheets, make beds and vacuum in both stay‑over and check‑out guest rooms.
- Dust entire guest room including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air‑condition units, and window ledges in all rooms.
- Clean all mirrors.
- Notify guest services (front desk) when service is complete so rooms may be sold.
- Report any room unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the supervisor.
- Report needed repairs of unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Respond to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards.
- Maintain the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day.
- Report lost and found articles to the supervisor.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linen.
- Clean rooms in accordance to the specific brand and company minutes per room standard.
- Follow procedures for team cleaning and self‑inspecting program.
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
- Report appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department.
- Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Keep maid station clean and organized, and make rollaway beds.
- Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Note:
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ability to follow brand standards and hotel procedures.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
- Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and twist.
- Lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting productivity standards.
