Responsibilities
  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards.
  • Change sheets, make beds and vacuum in both stay‑over and check‑out guest rooms.
  • Dust entire guest room including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air‑condition units, and window ledges in all rooms.
  • Clean all mirrors.
  • Notify guest services (front desk) when service is complete so rooms may be sold.
  • Report any room unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the supervisor.
  • Report needed repairs of unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Respond to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards.
  • Maintain the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day.
  • Report lost and found articles to the supervisor.
  • Replace light bulbs.
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linen.
  • Clean rooms in accordance to the specific brand and company minutes per room standard.
  • Follow procedures for team cleaning and self‑inspecting program.
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
  • Report appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department.
  • Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Keep maid station clean and organized, and make rollaway beds.
  • Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Note:

    Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to follow brand standards and hotel procedures.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
  • Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and twist.
  • Lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting productivity standards.
