Overview
Towne Park seeks a Bell Attendant to provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. The role includes assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure and delivering a positive guest experience throughout their stay.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Assist hotel guests with luggage, including delivery and pickup during arrival and departure.
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor; use guest last names and appropriate salutations.
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks and maintain Towne Park phone etiquette.
- Conduct thorough room presentations and assist with room changes when needed.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the rooms, meeting facilities, and public areas of the hotel.
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests and assist with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries.
- Provide information about the hotel, meeting rooms, amenities, and area attractions.
- Assist guests with transportation to off-site locations using approved taxi or transport services.
- Tag individual bags for storage in the bell storage area and ensure safe transport of guests and luggage.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the guest services area; deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Account Manager.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Licensure/Certification:
Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park. - Experience:
One to three months related experience or training. - Knowledge:
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Skills:
Ability to read and write standard English; read and comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and colleagues. - Numerical:
Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply/divide with tens and hundreds; perform operations using currency. - Time and Systems:
Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems. - Understanding of rates applicable to time and service.
