Responsibilities

  • Set up, serve, and break down banquet events according to the Banquet Event Order.
  • Provide service to guests in accordance with 1

    Hotel standards, answering requests and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Anticipate guest needs, greet by name, and respond courteously and professionally.
  • Attend pre‑shift meetings to learn event details and maintain a team‑mind approach.
  • Collect, transport, and stock supplies (china, glass, silverware, linen, decor, etc.) for event set‑up.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of banquet spaces, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, window washing, polishing, and mopping.
  • Retrieve, track, and store event materials, decor, props, crates, and boxes; return them when needed.
  • Maintain all event equipment (chairs, tables, podiums, etc.) and linen; report any breakage.
  • Break down boxes, packaging, and remove unused supplies after events.
  • Perform post‑event cleaning tasks and ensure rooms are clear and neat before departure.
  • Assist with room turns to prepare for subsequent events.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, safety, and cleanliness throughout duties.
  • Enter real‑time work orders via KYC for guest concerns and opportunities.
  • Execute additional duties as requested by leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize service performance and support process improvement.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Prior serving experience.
  • Organized and proficient at multitasking.
  • Reliable team player willing to learn and adapt.
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.
  • Able to stand for long periods.
  • Food handling certification (may be obtained during employment).
  • Flexible schedule including holidays per hotel demands.
