Compensation:
The hourly base pay range for this position is $9.50 to $13 per hour plus $14 to $16 in tips.

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Duties include parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure.
Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers and clients. Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor and use guest last names.
- Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette, welcome guests to the location and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks.
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assist guests with bell services and luggage storage, and open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries. Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility and main attractions in the area. Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested. Shuttle guests to approved destinations.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival, issue claim checks, collect claim checks before issuing keys and maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipts. Consistently complete location on all key tags after parking vehicles and calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensure, Certification: Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state where the position is located.
- Work Experience: One month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Skills:
- Read and write standard English.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations with guests, clients and employees.
- Add, subtract and multiply three‑digit numbers and use units of American money.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems.
- Understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Operate a manual transmission (highly desirable).
- Perform parallel parking.
The job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures and performs duties within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsEmployees are regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel or crawl. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently or 20 pounds constantly.
Work is performed outdoors for extended periods, including exposure to extreme heat and cold weather. Travel up to 5% of time may be required.
