Am Laundry Attendant

Position: AM LAUNDRY ATTENDANT
Summary:

To ensure all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linen is processed to meet the expectations of ZaZa standards.

Essential Functions:

Operating dryers

Operating sheet folder

Operating towel folder

Shaking out all linen that needs to be done Completes other service duties as assigned

Clean area and blow down all machines

Clean all dryers at least 3 times a dayLoad and unload washer

Deliver clean linen to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries

Required to follow all hotel safety polices and procedures

Tools and Equipment:

Telephone, pen/pencil, sewing machine, hand irons

Steam presser, washing machine, dryers

Working Environment:

Interior of hotel. Exposure to extreme heat and humidity.

Exposure to hazardous laundry cleaning chemicals.

Potential exposure to HAZCOM materials/OSHA training

Physical Demands:

Stand;

Walk;

Use hands to handle, or feel;

Reach with hands and arms;

Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;

Talk or hear and taste or smell;

Sitting;

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; also push or pull equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job to see, read, write, and use a computer

Must be able to communicate with guests in English.
