Join our team as a Receiving Agent, and become one of the authors of our story. As the Receiving Agent you will receive and coordinate placement of all hotel products. The Receiving Agent assures all hotel product specifications are met or exceeded. You will also generate a daily receiving sheet for food, beverage and general products. You will be reporting to the Finance Director and dotted line to Food and Beverage Director, Executive Chef and Director of Housekeeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ships all packages by specified shipper (UPS, Fed Ex). Shipments must be made on a daily basis.

• Distributes all packages to the appropriate guest storage area and hotel departments.

• Verifies all received orders are complete and match the corresponding PO

• Check to ensure received orders are correct.

• Checking quality of product before driver leaves, ensuring all products are up to standards and returned if not.

• Stocks, rotates and issues Food, Beverage and General products from requisitions

• Assist with Inventories and orders assigned products.

• Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business and staff levels demand.

• Communicate with management regarding product shortages, with a plan for re-ordering.

• May be required to work Holidays, evenings and weekends based on demand.

• Organize, Weigh, and Verify outgoing and incoming laundry loads.

• Assist with Collateral inventory

• Control of the Garbage Room

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with team members and guests

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.

• Must be able to drive a golf cart

• Promote positive relations with all receiving inquiries and third party vendors

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team and work independently

• Ability to focus attention on details, be well organized and follow up

• Excellent communication skills

• Proper procedure of storage (ex: chemicals, food, etc.)

• Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets and Google suite

• Preferably prior experience in a similar role with a luxury resort or hotel preferred

• Prior experience working in warehouse environment
