JOB SUMMARY:

Providing warm and caring bar and restaurant service, ensure the guests' needs are promptly and efficiently met

Shift Requirements:
Part Time position working on average 16-29 hours per week; working weekends and weekdays, afternoon-evening shift

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
• Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
• Exposure to food items and beverages.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of food and beverages to guests
• Promotes and up-sells on liquor and food
• Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware and garnishes
• Follows guidelines established in regard to age identification for suspected minors and when dealing with an intoxicated customer
• Attend required meetings
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
• Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
• Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions.
• Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor

Qualifications:

• Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
• Communicates effectively with others
• Works productively with a team
• Effective multitasking skills
• Composure and patience under pressure
• Skilled in working with multiple computer programs
• TABC and Food Handler's Certifications
