Aloft delivers a bold, social, music-forward experience perfectly tuned to Austin's creative energy and vibrant culture. Element offers thoughtfully designed extended-stay accommodations for the modern long-term traveler — a compelling product for corporate relocation clients, project-based business travelers, and guests who need the comforts of home in one of the country's most exciting urban markets.

Together, these two properties represent one of the most dynamic dual-branded Marriott hotel operations in the Austin market — and a uniquely compelling General Manager opportunity for a senior hospitality leader ready to operate at the highest level.

We are hiring a Dual General Manager to lead all operations across both Aloft Austin Downtown and Element Austin Downtown. This is a senior hotel General Manager role in Austin, Texas for a proven hospitality leader with 3 to 5 years of GM experience who brings deep financial acumen, a track record of building high-performing teams, and the strategic mindset to drive exceptional results across two distinct Marriott lifestyle brands simultaneously.

• Lead, develop, and influence the leadership teams across Aloft Austin Downtown and Element Austin Downtown — driving overall financial performance, cultural excellence, and an exceptional guest experience across both Marriott lifestyle hotel brands
• Serve as the strategic business leader for both properties — owning full accountability for P&L management, guest satisfaction scores, Marriott brand Quality Assurance standards, budget development, and labor productivity across the dual-branded Austin hotel operation
• Direct the leadership teams and develop the performance of all operating departments across both properties — including food and beverage, sales, marketing, and human resources — ensuring each department operates at the highest level of the White Lodging and Marriott brand standards
• Lead the day-to-day culture at Aloft Austin Downtown and Element Austin Downtown — maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to achieve strong associate engagement scores and consistently excellent guest satisfaction results
• Build owner confidence through proactive communication, transparent expectation management, and the consistent delivery of solid business results across both downtown Austin Marriott properties
• Uphold the style, ambiance, and brand identity of both Aloft and Element — bringing each brand to life authentically for associates and guests and ensuring the guest experience is flawless and on-brand at every touchpoint
• Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Vice Presidents and the White Lodging Corporate Leadership team

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hotel General Manager experience — required; prior GM experience at a dual-branded, Aloft, Element, or comparable Marriott lifestyle brand property strongly preferred
• Proven track record of delivering strong financial results — with demonstrated hands-on experience analyzing P&L statements, developing operating budgets, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning across a full-service or lifestyle hotel environment
