Summary

At Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, we believe exceptional service is at the heart of every guest experience. As a Guest Request Runner
, you will serve as an ambassador of hospitality by promptly responding to guest requests and delivering items, amenities, and services throughout the resort. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and committed to exceeding guest expectations through timely and professional service.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver guest-requested items, amenities, and supplies to guestrooms promptly and courteously.
  • Respond to guest requests including extra towels, linens, toiletries, cribs, rollaway beds, and other room-related needs.
  • Maintain communication with the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams to ensure requests are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Provide accurate information regarding resort facilities, services, dining options, and recreational activities.
  • Anticipate guest needs and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist guests with directions and transportation information throughout the resort.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort offerings, events, promotions, and operational updates.
  • Document completed requests and communicate any unresolved guest concerns to management.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed according to Hyatt service standards and departmental procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Support other operational departments as needed during periods of high business volume.

Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independent and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull as necessary to complete job tasks. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule with open availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and resort peak periods.
  • Previous hospitality, guest service, hotel, or resort experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Must be comfortable working in indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
