Out Scout is a recruitment and talent‑matching platform that partners with high‑growth technology companies to place senior individual contributors through SVP‑level leaders. We work closely with founders, executives, and talent leaders, from seed‑stage startups to public companies, to build high‑impact teams at critical moments of growth.
Out Scout has also launched a proprietary talent‑matching software platform that serves as a centralized talent database. The platform enables efficient identification of top candidates, delivers actionable reporting and insights to clients, and leverages AI to quickly surface target companies and high‑potential profiles.
The RoleWe’re looking for a Talent Engagement & Research Associate to support our Talent Partners in identifying, researching, and engaging strong talent for specific roles and companies. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an intern interested in recruiting, technology, and relationship‑driven work.
You’ll play a key role in helping us build high‑quality talent pipelines by engaging both passive and active candidates and ensuring a best‑in‑class candidate experience.
This can either be a part‑time role for current college students (15–25 hours per week), or a full‑time position for recent graduates. This role offers the opportunity to convert to a full‑time position upon graduation for high‑performing candidates.
What You’ll Do- Talent Research: Use Linked In, Out Scout’s platform, and other tools to identify top talent aligned to specific roles and target companies
- Talent Engagement: Proactively engage candidates via Linked In, email, and other outreach channels
- Platform Support: Help manage and maintain a high‑quality talent database, including candidate qualification and approvals

Conduct initial conversations to assess fit, interest, and alignment with Out Scout opportunities - Brand Representation: Clearly and compellingly represent Out Scout, our platform, and our clients to candidates

Experience:
Deliver a thoughtful, high‑touch experience for candidates throughout their journey with Out Scout - Collaboration: Work closely with Talent Partners and cross‑functional teams to support ongoing searches and platform initiatives
- Recent graduate or current undergraduate (open to all majors)
- Strong interest in recruiting, technology, startups, or people‑focused work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, detail‑oriented, and comfortable doing research and outreach
- Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport
- Self‑motivated with a high‑output, results‑driven mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment
You’ll work closely with our Talent Partners, as well as the VP of Client Engagement, VP of Operations, Platform team, and CEO, gaining broad exposure to how a modern talent business operates.
Compensation & Upside- $20 per hour if part‑time; salaried with commissions once full‑time
