Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior HR leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversee the recruitment process: job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a diverse and inclusive hiring process.
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, counseling, and mediation; serve as the initial point of contact for complaints, grievances, or concerns; document all relevant information.
- Implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities; coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
- Facilitate training sessions for employees at all levels; monitor and evaluate training quality and effectiveness, soliciting participant feedback.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations; develop and update HR policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
- Oversee HR administration tasks handled by the HR Generalist, including payroll processing, personnel record maintenance, and HRIS management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Work with senior HR leadership to enhance employee engagement, morale, and company culture; organize team‑building activities, recognition programs, and events.

- High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
- Background in employment, employee relations, employee training, and government regulations and policies as they impact HR is preferred.
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
- Service oriented with professional presentation skills.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as social media platforms.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
