SummaryThe Senior Vice President of Human Resources will lead the people function for our mid-sized organization of approximately 300-400 employees. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all aspects of Human Resources while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in engagement, accountability, and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be a true HR generalist with proven experience leading both strategic initiatives and tactical day-to-day HR operations in environments with a mix of salaried and hourly employees. This role requires a leader who can think strategically while rolling up their sleeves to execute with precision and urgency.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
- Build, evolve, and maintain a strong, inclusive, and high preforming team.
- Lead change management initiatives that drive organizational growth, efficiency, and engagement.
- Assess and develop talent strategies to ensure the right people are in the right roles for long term success.
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, learning & development.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Establish and refine HR systems, processes, and metrics that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR programs, policies, and practices.
- Lead workforce planning to support both current and future business needs.
- Develop & implement leadership development, succession planning, and retention programs.
- Partner closely with business leaders to drive engagement and performance across both salaried and hourly teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Build and scale HR infrastructure-including have experience both inheriting and building teams from the ground up.
- Foster an environment of accountability, innovation, and service excellence.
