SummaryReporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Senior HR Manager supporting HPS Americas is responsible for formulating partnerships to support the Hardware Platform Solutions Engineering teams on all aspects of human resources practices. The role requires a hands‑on HR Business Partner who excels at working with global leaders and employees and thrives on engaging in everything from HR strategy to Employee Relations.
Responsibilities- Partner with the VP of Human Resources and key leadership teams to drive strategic HR initiatives, focusing on organizational design, business transformation, and talent development.
- Work closely with business unit leaders as a strategic partner, providing advice on HR issues, workforce trends, and planning.
- Diagnose HR implications of business strategy and collaborate with Centers of Excellence for program design and execution.
- Execute all aspects of the talent lifecycle and proactively identify and analyze talent issues before they impact the business.
- Collaborate with the Talent Attraction organization to interview and hire key talent.
- Play a key role in developing the next generation of leaders through innovative approaches, supporting succession planning and talent review processes.
- Support change management for business transformation, reorganization, and HR initiatives or programs that affect the organization.
- Partner with HR COEs to provide business input into the development and execution of HR programs and practices, including compensation and incentive programs.
- Build and lead integrated plans that capture HR requirements for business success and transformation.
- Provide leadership to business leaders in implementing action plans to improve employee engagement.
- Leverage data and insights to develop People Strategies and programs that drive business performance.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior HR generalist or an equivalent combination across all facets of HR, including change management, transformation, organization design, and talent management.
- Broad understanding of all HR disciplines and best‑in‑class HR programs and practices.
- Experience in manufacturing or advanced technology environments is a distinct asset.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop insights on a global organization.
- Extensive collaboration and coaching skills.
- Self‑starter able to work in an ambiguous environment.
- Superior oral and written communication skills and comfort interacting with senior management.
- In‑depth analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent influencing skills with gravitas.
- Change‑management experience is a definite asset.
- Experience with diversity and inclusion programs.
- Position performed in good working conditions.
- Occasional exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, machinery, and temperature extremes.
- Require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer or detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements such as data entry and computer work are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resource Management, required.
- Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Development, preferred.
- CHRP, SHRM‑CP, or PHR Certification, preferred.
