Position Summary
Senox Corporation is looking for a recruiting assistant to join our HR team! This role will support the HR team in the corporate office by executing the staffing efforts of the company and building a strong workforce to service our customers.
Primary Responsibilities- Responsible for the entire recruiting cycle including but not limited to:
- Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and post ads
- Perform reference and background checks
- Make recommendations to company hiring managers
- Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers
- Follow up on the interview process status
- Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
- Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process
- Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
- Participate in networking events, job fairs, and other programs
- Strong written and oral communication
- Capable of identifying issues, evaluating options, and implementing effective solutions independently
- Desire to take initiative and ask questions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleagues
- May be assigned additional duties, depending on experience
- Develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill company staffing needs
- Ability to protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- High school or equivalent education
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check
