We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and organizing necessary information for client renewals. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent client relationships.

- Coordinate and manage the process of gathering information required for client benefits renewals.
- Work closely with clients, insurance carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure all renewal documents and data are collected on time.
- Review and analyze client benefit plan documents and update necessary information as required for renewals.
- Track renewal timelines and communicate deadlines and requirements to clients to ensure a smooth and timely renewal process.
- Maintain accurate records of all client communications and renewal-related documents.
- Collaborate with account managers and benefits consultants to ensure all client-specific renewal needs are met.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to renewals by researching and providing solutions.
- Prepare and deliver renewal reports and updates to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, plan offerings, and regulations to ensure clients receive the most relevant and compliant benefits options.
- Collection of plan data to ensure 5500 forms are delivered and filed.
- Preparation of Broker of Record Letters for new client implementations.
- Preparation of Cobra enrollment documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in benefits administration, client services, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and benefits management software.
- Knowledge of benefits offerings, plan renewals, and related regulations is a plus.
- Life, Accident, and Health brokerage license (preferred).
The base range for this role is $28.00 - $31.00 per hour depending upon level of experience.
