Autonomous Mobility company is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead and optimize HR Operations across the United States. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and employee-focused HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including HR systems, payroll, benefits, compliance, employee records, performance management, and HR service delivery.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading HR Operations within large, multi-state organizations and is comfortable building scalable processes that support continued organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities HR Operations Leadership
  • Lead day-to-day HR Operations across the U.S. workforce
  • Develop and improve HR processes, workflows, and service delivery standards
  • Ensure a positive and consistent employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for operational HR matters
HR Systems & Technology
  • Own and optimize HR technology platforms, including HRIS, ATS, PEO, EOR, payroll, and workforce management systems
  • Ensure HR data accuracy, security, integrity, and reporting capabilities
  • Lead HRIS implementations, system enhancements, integrations, and process automation initiatives
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements
Workforce Planning & Talent Operations
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to align hiring plans and workforce growth initiatives
  • Support headcount planning, organizational changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding activities
  • Ensure effective onboarding and offboarding experiences for employees and contractors
Compliance & Employee Relations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement policy and process updates as needed
  • Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance improvement plans, and corrective actions
  • Partner with legal counsel and leadership on employment-related matters
Benefits Administration
  • Oversee employee benefits programs and annual enrollment activities
  • Act as the primary liaison with benefits brokers, carriers, PEOs, EORs, and external service providers
  • Support employee communications and benefits-related issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with benefit plan requirements and applicable regulations
Payroll Administration
  • Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Partner with Finance and payroll providers to support timely payroll processing
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Performance Management
  • Administer company performance management programs and systems
  • Ensure performance processes are executed consistently and in accordance with company guidelines
HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Maintain workforce metrics related to headcount, turnover, hiring, compensation, compliance, and engagement
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to support business and HR decision-making
  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend operational improvements
  • Maintain employee handbooks, HR policies, procedures, and operational documentation
  • Ensure HR content remains accurate and up to date across internal systems
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and due diligence activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Operations or HR Shared Services experience within organizations of 1,000+ employees
  • Experience supporting multi-state U.S. work forces
  • Experience administering HRIS platforms, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle programs
  • Experience leading HRIS implementations, system migrations, and integrations across HR, payroll, benefits, ATS, timekeeping, performance management, and learning management systems
  • Experience working with PEOs, EORs, contingent workforce programs, and employment vendors
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technology, mobility, robotics, AI, telecommunications, hosting, semiconductor manufacturing, or other high-growth industries
  • Experience scaling HR operations in rapidly growing organizations
  • Experience supporting global or distributed work forces
