UCT is looking for a talented Sr Associate, HRBP to join us in Austin, TX!

The Sr. Associate, HRBP provides comprehensive HR support by partnering with management and employees to address workforce needs and ensure alignment with company policies and practices. This role supports recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations, including onboarding, benefits, performance management, and compliance. By maintaining accurate HR data, supporting audits and reporting, and assisting with workforce changes such as hiring and terminations, the Sr.

Associate helps drive effective HR service delivery, employee engagement, and organizational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
  • Guide site recruiting and employee relations processes.
  • Responsible for human resource activities to include employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, and training and development.
  • Interview job applicants; review application and resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications.
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
  • Perform specific research and investigation into operational issues, as requested.
  • Process various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, and terminations.
  • Conduct new-hire orientations and counsel employees on benefit features.
  • Train new employees on self‑service HR tools.
  • Assist with audit and reporting of site staffing programs.
  • Maintain employee hardcopy files and input employee personal data into the HRIS database.
  • Provide information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information.
  • Coordinate termination and reduction‑in‑force activities including paperwork, related distributions, and communication.
  • Review and update exit paperwork, close out exiting employee files, and collect exit interview data for reporting; may conduct exit interviews and track headcount statistics.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date organizational charts.
  • Work on special projects in support of the HR organization.
  • Other recruiting and HR duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines and federal and state employment and benefit laws.

Educational / Certification Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
