Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources professional to join a fast-paced Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care operation. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and solution-oriented individual who thrives in a high-volume environment and is passionate about supporting employees, leadership teams, and organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can effectively balance multiple priorities, build strong relationships, and serve as a trusted resource for managers and staff. This position requires a hands-on HR professional with a strong understanding of workforce management, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and retention strategies within the long-term care industry.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR operations for a skilled nursing facility.

Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new hires.

Partner with department leaders to address staffing needs and workforce planning initiatives.

Support employee relations by providing guidance on policies, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance concerns.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Assist with employee engagement, retention, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.

Manage personnel files and ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation.

Facilitate benefits administration and employee leave processes.

Support workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and other employment-related matters.

Conduct investigations and maintain confidentiality in sensitive employee situations.

Assist leadership with training programs, compliance requirements, and organizational development efforts.

Promote a positive workplace culture that values teamwork, accountability, and respect.

Qualifications Required Minimum  of 2 years of Human Resources experience in a Long-Term Care and/or Skilled Nursing Facility environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices, employment law, employee relations, and recruitment.

Experience supporting a high-volume workforce in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office, and applicant tracking systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification.

Multi-facility healthcare experience.
