Job Description

A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire an HR Compliance Specialist to come onboard! This individual will support HR compliance programs across a growing, multi-state workforce, serving as a key resource for employee relations, investigations, Form I-9/E-Verify, background screenings, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and work authorization processes. The ideal candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations while helping support expansion into new markets.

This person will also identify opportunities to improve processes through AI, automation, and workflow enhancements, making compliance programs more efficient and scalable.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in HR compliance areas including employee relations, investigations, Form I-9/E-Verify, background screening, employment verifications, and unemployment claims.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve compliance-related issues while ensuring adherence to company policies and employment regulations.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, document findings, and elevate complex or high-risk matters when appropriate.
  • Administer compliance programs including I-9s, E-Verify, background screenings, and employment verification requests.
  • Research and apply federal, state, and multi-state employment laws to support ongoing compliance and business expansion initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, documentation, and reporting to support audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries related to HR compliance processes and policies.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process enhancements, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
