What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for an enthusiastic Learning Experience Designer & Trainer who thrives on teaching, coaching, and supporting others. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, relationship-builder, and facilitator who can deliver impactful training both in-person and virtually. You should be comfortable traveling across Texas to support training initiatives and enjoy designing learning that directly supports organizational goals.

Basics:
  • Status:Full-Time Exempt.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Flexibility required - Extended hours, based on company needs.
  • Travel: 80–90% throughout the state to branches, training sites, and events.
  • Position is primarily based at HQ in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and presentations
  • Facilitate learning for team members at all levels using strong verbal, visual, and instructional communication
  • Build partnerships across the organization to promote collaboration and ensure successful L&D initiatives
  • Encourage active learner participation and support the transfer of knowledge and skills
  • Provide backup support for the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Design low- to medium-complexity training solutions
  • Support project management activities and coordinate training schedules, registration, and logistics
  • Handle moderately complex issues under general supervision
  • Partner with leaders to reinforce training and sustain behavior change
  • Coach teams on service excellence and operational execution
  • Support compliance requirements including BSA, AML, and annual training assignments
  • Perform additional L&D duties as assigned
  • Travel approximately 80–90% to branch and headquarters locations
Other Duties
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and learner data tracking
  • Provide administrative support during major training initiatives and events
  • Maintain professional knowledge through assigned career development training
  • Uphold credit union policies, procedures, and member-centric standards
Requirements

Required:
  • Experience: 3–5 years in training, facilitation, learning & development, and instructional design
  • Skills:
    • Strong facilitation and training delivery skills
    • Proven ability to design practical, behavior-focused learning
    • Ability to translate policies and operational expectations into actionable content
    • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education & Training, Human Resources, or related field
  • Experience: Credit union or banking experience
