Human Resources Business Partner
IMEG is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner in Texas, with opportunities in Dallas, Austin, or Fort Worth. This role aligns business objectives with employees and management in assigned functions, develops partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added services, and provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to management and employees.
In this role, you will partner with leaders and employees on employee relations, performance management, hiring, training needs, and day-to-day HR guidance. You will also analyze trends and metrics, support regulatory compliance, and help strengthen work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention across the business.

What You'll Do
- Participate in regular meetings with respective Client Executives and teams
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Understand basic legal principles and seek out additional information as needed to support day-to-day management, reduce legal risks, and support regulatory compliance
- Partner with the legal department and HR Leadership as needed/required
- Provide HR and Performance Management guidance to team management through regularly scheduled meetings and ongoing discussions, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, and collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Assist with the facilitation of Visa Sponsor ships and related HR matters
- Work in conjunction with HR Leadership to help identify training needs for disciplines, teams, and individual coaching needs

Education and Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field, required
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred
- Professional Human Resources certification preferred; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS) and/or the ability to quickly learn computer applications;
Workday experience preferred - Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays

- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance, engagement, and day-to-day people strategies.
- Lead and manage key HR programs and initiatives that enhance both the employee experience and the effectiveness of the HR Business Partner team.
- Consult with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, solve workforce challenges, and drive continuous improvement in people practices and processes.
- Support employees and leaders throughout the entire employee lifecycle, delivering a broad range of HR solutions rather than specializing in a single HR function.
- Partner closely with business leaders to influence people-related decisions, align HR strategies with business goals, and drive positive organizational outcomes.
- Own program areas that create meaningful impact for employees while also improving how HR delivers services, tools, and support across the organization.
- Own the full campus talent pipeline, partnering with universities and student organizations to attract, engage, and transition top early-career talent into IMEG.
