Purpose

The Senior HR Administrative Associate serves as the primary coordinator for Human Resources administrative operations for the Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE), including recruitment, hiring, onboarding and offboarding, affiliate management, and employee support services. This role functions as a key operational liaison between candidates, employees, managers, University departments, and external partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-focused HR service delivery.

Responsibilities Recruitment support

Support hiring managers and HR staff throughout the full recruitment lifecycle for staff, faculty, research, technical, and administrative positions. Initiate and submit recruitment requests; manage access to candidate pools; disposition candidates; close recruitments; and collect recruitment‑related documentation. Track recruitment activities and maintain accurate records to support reporting and compliance.

Candidate interview management

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview and hiring process, providing clear and timely communication. Develop and maintain interview schedules and candidate itineraries; coordinate interview logistics for hiring teams across multiple locations as needed.
