- Conduct active, in-person and street level recruiting to engage potential candidates directly in the community and drive consistent foot traffic to the branch.
- Partner closely with branch recruiters to ensure candidates generated through community outreach move smoothly into the recruiting and hiring pipeline.
- Track and report on community outreach activity, job fair turnout, and candidate flow generated through each channel, while identifying new partnership opportunities to expand sourcing reach.
- 1+ years' experience in community outreach, grassroots recruiting, sales, or a related relationship driven field.
- Comfortable with high volume, in-person, active recruiting, including approaching and engaging with people directly in the community.
- Strong relationship building and networking skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with new contacts.
- Reliable transportation, willingness to travel locally between community sites and job fairs, and comfort with a flexible schedule including event based hours.
- Community Engagement: Builds genuine, lasting relationships with local organizations and community members. Represents the brand with warmth and credibility, becoming a trusted resource within the community.
- Grassroots Sourcing: Thrives in an active, in-person recruiting environment. Comfortable initiating conversations, working events, and generating candidate interest without relying solely on digital sourcing tools.
- Drive and Initiative: Self-motivated to seek out new community touchpoints and sourcing opportunities. Takes ownership of building and growing a local network from the ground up.
This position is primarily field based, requiring regular travel throughout the local community to job fairs, partner organizations, and events, in addition to time spent at the branch. Balance reserves the right to require in person work when necessary. The employee can be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate job fairs and community events.
