Contract Sr. Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

W2 Contract full‑time onsite in Austin, TX.

8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Initial 6‑month contract with high probability of extension

Hourly $35.00 – $40.00 plus co‑paid Medical, Dental, Vision;

Lead development and maintenance of automated and manual test solutions using Webdriver

IO or similar toolkits. Ensure quality and reliability through rigorous testing and cross‑functional collaboration.

• Design & Develop Automated Test Solutions
  • Build scalable automated test frameworks using Webdriver
    
    IO or comparable tools.
  • Create end‑to‑end, integration, regression, and smoke test scripts.
• Manual Testing Execution
  • Execute thorough manual test scenarios when automation is not viable.
  • Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements.
• Test Case Management & Execution Tracking
  • Maintain detailed test cases and execution logs.
  • Track and report test execution status, outcomes, and defect trends.
• Scheduled Test Automation & Reporting
  • Establish and manage scheduled automated test runs in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Generate and distribute test reports to stakeholders.
• Defect Management
  • Log, track, and manage defects in Jira.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes.
• Requirements Traceability
  • Develop & maintain traceability matrices for comprehensive coverage.
  • Align test artifacts with functional & non‑functional requirements.
• Agile Participation
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, stand‑ups, retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional team members.
• Environment & Release Support
  • Support testing across all environments (development, QA, UAT, production).
  • Troubleshoot failures & assist in issue resolution during release cycles.
• Lead UAT Activities
  • Plan, coordinate, & support User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders.
  • Collect & consolidate feedback ensuring test completeness & satisfaction.
• On‑Call & Production Support
  • Be available for on‑call support during key releases or production incidents.
  • Respond quickly to test‑related issues impacting delivery timelines or quality.

• 10 years Manual Test Script Execution experience.
• 8 years Automated QA Testing experience.
• 8 years QA Test Script Creation experience.

• 5 years QA Automated Test Case Reporting experience.
• 3 years Agile, Scrum, Jirax XRay experience.
