The Senior Data Architect & Analytics Lead will play a pivotal role in advancing the data infrastructure and analytics initiatives for the CDA team. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with in-depth expertise in data design and advanced analytics. Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust data structures to support analytics projects, developing comprehensive database and table designs for optimized data storage and retrieval, and utilizing advanced analytics tools and techniques to extract insights that facilitate decision‑making.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of data strategies with organizational goals and provide thought leadership on data modeling and analytics best practices.

Minimum Requirements
:

  • Required Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing on‑prem and cloud technologies
  • Required Experience with business intelligence and big data solutions
  • Preference:
    Experience with healthcare data standards like FHIR, CCDA, HL‑7
  • Required Proven experience in leading and managing advanced analytics projects
  • Required Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Required Experience in developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage on these platforms
  • Required Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices
  • Required Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies
  • Required Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and strategies
  • Required Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non‑technical audience
  • Required Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
  • Required Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including understanding of cloud‑based data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud
  • Required Design and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting
  • Required Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare
  • Required Work closely with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure seamless data accessibility and usability
  • Required Experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs
  • Required Experience with EHR integration, APIs, and real‑time streaming
  • Required Experience in architecting and designing ETL pipelines using Informatica tools
  • Required Design and model data for cloud‑based data architecture solutions using Snowflake as the primary data platform

Preferred Qualifications
:

  • Preferred Experience in implementing and deploying big data applications
  • Preferred Hands‑on expertise in Python and/or Java/Scala
  • Preferred Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on‑premise‑to‑cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
  • Preferred Healthcare Industry Experience
  • Preferred Understanding of Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization
  • Preferred Consulting and Facilitation Skills
  • Preferred Customer‑focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Preferred Proactive Leadership style; self‑starter and strong attention to detail
  • Preferred Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Cloud Solution Architecture on Azure, AWS, or GCP Certification

Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Mon & Wed & Thu) required onsite.

Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50‑mile radius).
