This position leads a team of product planning professionals that drive supply to meet and exceed company and customer objectives. The manager is accountable to meet key performance indices, develop personnel and drive system and process improvements. Daily tasks include managing and monitoring the supply position for both NPI and sustaining products, collaborating with key stakeholders & functions on material flow, capacity support, parametric data, demand and managing exceptions on a real‑time basis.
This role demands customer focus, strong decision‑making capabilities, agility and excellent communication skills to manage supply across multiple functions & geographies.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Supply Planning professionals
- Meet KPI for SCM (on‑time delivery, revenue attainment, order scheduling, excess & obsolete, etc.)
- Collaborate with other functions to communicate priorities, strategies and close operational gaps
- Accountable to position supply required to meet new product milestones & demand ramp while minimizing supply risk
- Lead resolution of issues to meet customer success or enable decisions
- Drive robust tool development to manage complex planning, BOM and inventory flows
- Advocate and drive continuous improvement & change management process design to increase team productivity and scale
- Proven experience in business/operations and product planning
- Know‑how of supply chain theory and processes, operational execution & needs are critical
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Prior management experience in building and running high‑performance teams
- Strong experience with SAP;
Rapid Response a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or other related technical degree
