Forward Deployed Architect

Overview

The Forward Deployed Architect role at Dev Rev is a senior technical architect focused on AI‑driven business transformation. You will own end‑to‑end design, delivery, and customer engagement for high‑impact AI solutions on the Applied AI Engineering team.

• Lead technical design and architecture for AI integration projects, converting business requirements into scalable, agent‑based solutions.
• Partner with pre‑sales, customer success, engineering, and product teams to scope, plan, and execute deployments.
• Hands‑on coding, creating proofs‑of‑concept, custom integrations, and solution prototypes that validate feasibility and technical depth.
• Integrate AI agents with external platforms (CRMs, APIs, databases) for seamless workflow automation.
• Optimize agent performance, tuning prompts, logic, and configurations for accuracy and scalability.
• Travel up to 30% for on‑site discovery, deployment, and customer engagement.

• 5+ years in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting with customer‑facing experience.
• Strong coding proficiency in Type Script/JavaScript, Python, and data structures;
  Go is a plus.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and evaluation frameworks.
• Hands‑on cloud and Dev Ops experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) with modern CI/CD and container practices.
• System integration skills via APIs, webhooks, and event/data pipelines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degrees or certifications in AI/architecture frameworks are a plus).
