Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Citrix Administrator to manage and optimize Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable virtual desktop services.

This role involves administering Citrix/AVD components, maintaining Windows Server systems, applying networking fundamentals, automating processes, and enforcing security and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless end‑user experience.

• Citrix/AVD Administration:
  Manage Citrix DaaS/CVAD integrated with AVD, including host pools, session hosts, delivery groups, MCS/Autoscale, FSLogix profiles, app layering, Citrix Workspace/Store Front/Cloud Connectors, Citrix Gateway, policy design, image lifecycle, and capacity planning.
• Windows Server Platform:
  Build, patch, and harden Windows Server (2022); manage AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP; automate tasks using Power Shell and configuration tools (MECM/Intune, ARM/Bicep/Terraform basics).
• Networking & Security:
  Apply TCP/IP fundamentals, DNS, load balancing, and ACLs at multiple layers; create and maintain firewall rules for systems; implement least‑privilege connectivity.
• Monitoring & Operations:
  Use Citrix Director/Analytics, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, and platform logs to track performance, optimize capacity, and troubleshoot issues; document SOPs.
• Governance & Compliance:
  Follow change, configuration, and security baselines; ensure patch compliance, backup/DR readiness, and vulnerability remediation.

  Partner with application owners and service desks to triage user issues, publish applications, and deliver a consistent virtual desktop experience; participate in on‑call rotation for high‑priority incidents.

• 7+ years administering Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / Citrix DaaS and/or Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnets/VLANs, DNS, load balancing, ACLs, and firewall rule management.
• Proficiency in Power Shell and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting across Citrix/AVD, Windows Server, and network layers.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and operate within change and incident management processes.
• 7+ years administering Windows Server in enterprise environments (AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, file/print, patching/updates).

• 4+ years experience with Azure network security and public‑sector security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800‑53), CIS hardening benchmarks.
• Certifications such as Citrix CCA‑V / CCP‑V / CCE‑V, Microsoft AZ‑104, AZ‑140, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+/Security+ (preferred).
