IT Consultant, Data Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer to serve as the technical authority for all integrations within an Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM Cloud ecosystem. This role plays a strategic and highly influential part in shaping enterprise-wide integration architecture, acting as the primary bridge between Finance & Legal IT and the central Enterprise Architecture organization.
This position is ideal for a seasoned integration specialist who thrives in governance-driven environments, enjoys defining standards, and has deep hands-on expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). You will be responsible for designing the most complex and business-critical integrations across Finance, SCM, and EPM domains, while ensuring architectural consistency, security, scalability, and long-term platform evolution.
Responsibilities- Act as the integration architecture gatekeeper, ensuring all Oracle integrations comply with enterprise reference architecture, security standards, and best practices.
- Define and maintain the long-term technical roadmap for the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) platform.
- Design and review complex, high-volume, and mission-critical integration patterns across ERP, SCM, and EPM domains.
- Lead formal technical design reviews, validating performance, security, auditability, and architectural compliance.
- Establish and standardize best practices for OIC components, including orchestrations, adapters, mappings, and security configurations.
- Architect advanced integration solutions such as real-time data synchronization, multi-cloud integrations, and high-volume transaction routing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, technical leads, business systems analysts, and external system integrators.
- Define and validate integration security models, including authentication, authorization, and API gateway configurations.
- Partner with ALM and platform teams to define deployment automation, monitoring, error handling, and operational standards for OIC.
- Support incident response by leading root cause analysis for complex and recurring integration failures.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, integration patterns, and service catalogs.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on enterprise integration, middleware, or enterprise architecture.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and governing integrations for large-scale ERP/SCM/EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, SAP).
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including adapters (REST, SOAP, ERP, Database), orchestration, and data mapping.
- Proven experience working closely with a central Enterprise Architecture organization to define and enforce integration standards.
- Deep understanding of SOA, microservices, API-led connectivity, and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Strong expertise in API management, security protocols (OAuth, SAML), and data transformation techniques.
- Experience using Oracle ATP as a backend database for Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.
- Oracle Integration Cloud certification or certifications in other middleware platforms (e.g., Mule Soft, Boomi).
- Experience architecting integrations for ERP migrations, particularly from Net Suite to Oracle Fusion.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), especially security, governance, and networking aspects.
- Experience defining canonical data models and enterprise integration patterns.
- Background working in regulated or audit-heavy environments (Finance, Legal, Compliance).
