Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
- 7-10 years of DBA experience, generally with DB2 LUW and No
SQL databases. - Proficiency with No
SQL databases like Cassandra or Redis Valkey. Experience with public cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure. - Strong knowledge and extensive experience with DB2 UDB RDBMS technologies, Cassandra and Public cloud No
SQL databases. - Sound knowledge of all UNIX and DB2 UDB utilities. Troubleshoot database performance problems and database issues.
- Strong UNIX platform skills and understanding of network, storage, tiered application environments and security.
- Proficiency in writing SQL procedures, functions and packages for administration and application support and experience with Q replication, Range partitioned tables, Hash partitioned tables, Replicated MQT and MDC.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, scripting languages, data modeling and business intelligence tools.
- Good interpersonal skills along with effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex systems and database environment issues.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs.
- Sound knowledge of No
SQL technologies like Mongo
DB or Cassandra is preferable. - Work experience in a Financial Institute will be preferred.

Travel RequirementsThis position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical RequirementsThis position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

The estimated salary range for this position is $131,600 to $210,300 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
