IT Engineering Manager (Hands-on) - Remote in US
What You’ll Do- Lead and contribute directly to the delivery of technology solutions from design through implementation.
- Work hands‑on with system integrations, data flows, and solution design.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery activities across engineers, analysts, and QA partners.
- Translate business needs into practical technical approaches and delivery plans.
- Support cloud‑based, modern architectures and help improve existing systems.
- Drive automation and process improvements to reduce manual work.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog planning, and prioritization.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members while maintaining personal delivery ownership.
- Help troubleshoot issues and support solutions after launch.
- 8+ years of experience in technology delivery, solution implementation, or systems integration.
- Proven hands‑on experience designing or implementing technical solutions.
- Understanding of financial and valuation data structures, including general ledger, bank, and valuation data.
- Experience with bank file formats, integrations, and reconciliations (e.g., ACH, positive pay, balance and transaction reporting).
- Structured and semi‑structured data formats (SQL, CSV, fixed‑width, XML, JSON)
- ETL / ELT pipelines and batch processing
- Experience handling sensitive financial data and PII with appropriate security and controls.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira).
- 1 to 3 years of experience leading or mentoring team members in a delivery or project setting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of data pipelines, system integrations, and reporting workflows.
- Comfort working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
- Strong communication skills and a practical, delivery‑focused mindset.
- AWS experience with services such as Lambda, S3, API's, and cloud‑native integration patterns.
- Experience handing sensitive financial data and PII with appropriate security and controls.
- Cloud certifications
- Experience with automation, analytics, or data‑intensive systems
- Experience supporting production systems or operational environments
