About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Technical Lead – Platform / Dev Ops to lead and scale our platform engineering function. This role is responsible for guiding a team of Dev Ops and Platform Engineers while remaining deeply hands-on with the architecture, tooling, and day-to-day technical decisions that power our environments.
You will own the evolution of our Kubernetes-based platform on Google Cloud, define deployment and release standards using Git Ops, and ensure our application delivery pipelines are secure, reliable, and scalable. This role sits at the core of engineering enablement, ensuring that product, data, and AI teams can move fast without compromising stability, security, or compliance.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building platforms, mentoring engineers, and setting technical direction in complex, high-growth environments.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Own the technical vision and roadmap for the Dev Ops and Platform domain.
- Design and evolve a production-grade Kubernetes platform on Google Cloud.
- Define and maintain reference architectures for application deployment, CI/CD, and environment management.
- Drive platform standardization while enabling flexibility for diverse workloads (microservices, data pipelines, AI systems).
- Lead and manage a pool of Platform / Dev Ops Engineers, providing technical mentorship, coaching, and architectural guidance.
- Set clear priorities, define best practices, and ensure high-quality execution across the team.
- Act as the final technical escalation point for complex platform and deployment issues.

- Own Kubernetes cluster design, upgrades, security, and scalability.
- Lead Git Ops-based deployment strategies using tools such as ArgoCD and Kargo.
- Define application build and deployment workflows supporting multiple teams and environments.
- Ensure reliable rollout strategies including blue/green, canary, and progressive delivery.
- Partner with application teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience.
- Architect and evolve CI/CD pipelines for application builds, containerization, and deployments.
- Promote infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code across all environments.
- Drive automation to reduce operational toil and improve system reliability.
- Define and monitor platform SLIs, SLOs, and operational health metrics.
- Own platform-level cloud architecture on GCP, including networking, IAM, and shared services.
- Ensure platform security best practices across clusters, pipelines, and runtime environments.
- Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other regulatory requirements.
- Balance security controls with developer productivity.
- 8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer leading platform or Dev Ops teams.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong experience with Git Ops tools such as ArgoCD and progressive delivery tooling such as Kargo.
- Extensive experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for application builds and deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including networking, IAM, and managed services.
- Solid understanding of containerization, image lifecycle management, and application runtime concerns.
- Experience supporting multiple environments (dev, staging, production) at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to align platform decisions with business and engineering needs.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience with service meshes, ingress controllers, and advanced networking patterns.
- Exposure to AI/ML or data platform workloads running on Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
