Our IS&T (Information Services and Technology) department provides all the required technology and operational support services to run our business here  have over 200 on-premises servers to support production, disaster recovery, databases, applications, and more than 1,000 servers in lab environments. IS&T is transformational for BMC and the customer experience, giving a 360-degree view to the customer about products they should know, opportunities in the pipeline, and any service issues outstanding with the customer.

We use cutting-edge technologies to manage BMC's infrastructure and showcase it to customers — program is called BMC on BMC.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP and EIGRP.
• Manage and maintain switching technologies, including STP, VLAN, and HSRP.
• Configure and support F5 LTM and GTM load balancers, including SSL certificate management.
• Perform hands-on work on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Manage DNS and DHCP services and perform related configuration and troubleshooting.
• Handle user tickets and provide timely support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Configure and support Aruba Wi-Fi infrastructure, including access points and controllers.
• Receive shipments, track inventory, install hardware, perform upgrades, and conduct routine break/fix tasks.
• Audit and maintain consistent rack layouts, RMA hardware, and collaborate with systems engineers to install hardware.
• Install and ensure effective layout of all tools in cabling industry standards.
• Oversee capacity planning, perform power audits, and ensure appropriate power supply to all equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network and data center initiatives and system integrations.
• Maintain service level standards by ensuring timely responses to stakeholder requests.
• Contribute to process improvements using Change and Incident Management Tools.
• Facilitate team knowledge dissemination, maintain process and procedure documentation, and respond to audits.
• Communicate effectively with global teams and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, Data Center administrator, or in a similar role.
• Fundamentals in routing and switching, with knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, HSRP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches.
• Basic understanding of F5 LTM/GTM and SSL certificate management.
• Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP administration.
• Experience in managing Aruba Wi-Fi environments.
• Willingness to learn and support Data Center infrastructure management responsibilities including Power & cooling, hardware rack and stack, structured cabling, and best practices.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools and handling user tickets (e.g., Helix ITSM).
• Willingness to work in rotational shift and on-call over weekends and outside business hours.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware with OEMs (HP, Cisco, Dell EMC, IBM, Hitachi, etc.).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage day-to-day activities, and resolve diverse issues with data-driven analysis.
• Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions; interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of enterprise network experience in technical execution, reliability, and foundational design exposure.
• Willingness to work in global support hours on a rotational shift (24x5) and be available on-call.
