Apple is seeking a highly skilled Postgre

SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support and manage mission-critical database environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Postgre

SQL administration
, performance tuning
, high availability, and enterprise-scale database operations.

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Postgre
  
  SQL databases in production and non-production environments
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity using replication, clustering, and backup strategies
• Perform database performance tuning
  , query optimization, and index management
• Monitor database health, capacity planning, and proactive issue resolution
• Implement and manage backup & recovery solutions (, , WAL, etc.)
• Work closely with application, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams to support database needs
• Manage security, access controls, roles, and permissions in compliance with enterprise standards
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts (Shell, Python, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a fast-paced environment
• Support database migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Maintain proper documentation and follow operational best practices

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Postgre
  
  SQL DBA
• Strong expertise in Postgre
  
  SQL architecture, internals, and performance tuning
• Experience with replication technologies (Streaming Replication, Logical Replication)
• Hands-on experience with HA/DR solutions (Patroni, PgBouncer, Pgpool-II, etc.)
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with backup, restore, and recovery strategies
• Solid understanding of SQL, indexing, execution plans
  , and query optimization
• Experience supporting large-scale, high-traffic enterprise databases
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes / containerized Postgre
  
  SQL deployments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.)
