Cloud Native Support Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Cloud Native Support Engineer to join our front-line support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal customers, partners, and engineering teams — helping them troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues related to Kubernetes cloud-native platforms. You will play a critical part in ensuring system reliability, smooth operations, and customer satisfaction.

• Act as the first line of support for internal teams and partners — providing timely response, acknowledgment, and resolution ownership.
• Handle incoming requests, incidents, and queries related to Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and cloud-native applications.
• Take ownership of cases from acknowledgment to completion, ensuring proactive follow-up until the issue is fully resolved or appropriately escalated. Collaborate with L2/L3 engineers, SREs, and platform teams for complex problem resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolution in the ticketing system.
• Perform initial diagnostics using Kubernetes tools (e.g., kubectl, logs, events) to identify root causes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure SLA compliance for response and resolution times.
• Provide excellent customer service — communicating clearly, empathetically, and professionally with internal stakeholders.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Dev Ops Support, or Kubernetes-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes fundamentals — including Deployments, Services, Admissions, Cluster control plane and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience in automation or scripting for operational efficiency.
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Linux systems, command-line tools, and scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
• Good knowledge in Agentic AI Bot development - Lang Chain/Claude is a plus
• Excellent communication skills — capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with Helm, Istio, or container runtime environments.
• Certification in Kubernetes (CKA or CKS) or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
