About The Division
Fiscal Management facilitates the flow of financial resources to achieve the goals of the state in support of the Comptroller’s role as the state’s chief accountant.
Work Hours
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40‑hour work week, Monday through Friday. May occasionally work evenings, weekends or holidays. Hours may change based on business needs.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
Experience- Five years of experience with systems analysis, design, or testing.
- Three years of project management experience.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems.
Preferred Experience- One or more years of experience supporting the statewide fiscal systems: USAS, SPA, TINS, CAPPS, HRIS, or SPRS.
- Experience in documenting and testing new and existing web applications.
One additional year of experience with systems analysis, design or testing may substitute for thirty semester hours of educational requirement with a maximum substitution of 120 semester hours (four years).
Licenses and CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
In this role you will:- Conduct functional and business process analysis and systematic testing; provide concise documentation and professional presentation of findings regarding statewide financial systems and agency-created applications; prepare charts, diagrams, and tables depicting current and proposed systems.
- Manage projects to ensure deadlines are met and system integrity is maintained.
- Identify and research necessary changes to statewide financial systems and provide expertise and functional support throughout the application change process, including acceptance testing.
- Lead and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Assist and mentor others with analysis and testing assignments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
