The client is seeking a seasoned Senior Scrum Master to drive the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives. This role partners closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure work is executed efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with organizational priorities.
The Senior Scrum Master acts as a servant leader and Agile advocate, creating an environment where teams can thrive. This individual coaches teams on Agile mindset and execution, facilitates effective collaboration, removes delivery blockers, and continuously looks for ways to improve team performance and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Agile delivery efforts by applying Scrum and Agile principles to support planning, execution, and delivery
- Serve as a coach and mentor to Scrum teams, reinforcing Agile values and promoting continuous improvement
- Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and constraints, and drive resolution plans
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to support timely decision-making
- Track team progress and performance metrics to improve predictability and outcomes
- Coordinate sprint reviews, demonstrations, and testing activities to ensure quality delivery
- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to enable effective collaboration
- Remove impediments that hinder team productivity and focus
- Maintain visibility into project status, timelines, and financials
- Communicate progress, risks, and key milestones to leadership and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Scrum Master and/or Technology Project Management role supporting application development
- Strong command of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
- Demonstrated ability to influence, guide, and support cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities
- Highly organized, self-directed, and resilient in fast-paced environments
- Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities
