Role OverviewCyberhill Partners is seeking an AI Engineer to help design, build, and scale next-generation enterprise AI solutions. This role is well-suited for recent graduates with strong AI/ML portfolios or junior-to-mid-level engineers looking to deepen their real-world production experience.
As an AI Engineer, you’ll work closely with Senior Data Scientists and Ontology Architects to transform complex data into actionable intelligence. You won’t be building models in isolation—this role focuses on creating trusted AI Foundations used by large enterprises and government organizations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI Development & Implementation
- Develop, optimize, and deploy AI/ML models, including LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, and predictive analytics
- Rapidly prototype Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to demonstrate AI capabilities and value to clients
- Prepare and manage large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to ensure high-quality model inputs
- Support deployment of AI models into production environments using MLOps best practices
- Build and maintain APIs that integrate AI capabilities into client-facing and enterprise systems
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tracking to detect drift and ensure model reliability
- Partner with AI Managers to support technical feasibility assessments and client proposals
- Collaborate with Ontology Architects to integrate symbolic reasoning (Knowledge Graphs) with neural models (LLMs)
- Maintain clear documentation for codebases, architectures, and deployment processes
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field with an AI/ML focus
- Experience: 0–5 years of experience in AI/ML development (including internships, research, or significant academic projects)
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with Java, C++, or Go is a plus
- AI/ML Stack: Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Lang Chain, Llama Index, or Hugging Face
- Data Skills: Experience with SQL and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus) and/or graph databases (Neo4j)
- Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a consulting mindset—focused on solving business problems, not just technical challenges
