The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, third‑party vendors, developers, and senior members of the innovation team to advance initiatives that enhance the firm’s innovation capabilities and improve service delivery.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge legal technology initiatives while contributing to the firm’s broader innovation strategy.

Essential Functions
  • Support end‑to‑end delivery of generative AI solutions, including locating, evaluating, designing with developers and senior team members, running pilots of new tools and platforms, and driving testing, deployment, and integration into practice workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison with IT and vendors to coordinate environments, integrations, access controls, and release/change management to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable implementations.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and support the product team throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Partner with practice groups and business leaders to help identify and evaluate opportunities for GenAI use cases that enhance client service and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure AI and automation solutions comply with firm policies, client guidelines, and confidentiality obligations, and contribute to governance by developing and maintaining documentation, best practices, and responsible‑use guidelines.
  • Support change management initiatives aimed at increasing adoption, engagement, and effective use of generative AI tools across practice groups.
  • Monitor the performance of GenAI pilots and post‑deployment solutions by defining success criteria, tracking usage, analytics, determining ROI, and delivering dashboards and reports to measure adoption and usage of tools.
  • Assist with the development of strategies and supporting materials related to potential client‑facing GenAI solutions.
  • Assist with other innovation and analytics initiatives as needed.
  • Support internal training and enablement efforts, including creating user guides, documentation, workshops, and reference materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in legal innovation, legal technology, or AI/ML implementation roles, ideally within professional services or a law firm.
  • 1+ years of hands‑on experience with generative AI tools, including piloting, deploying, or supporting AI‑driven solutions in legal or adjacent domains.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI platforms, AI model life cycles, and natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
  • Experience with databases and/or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and AI development frameworks.
  • Experience with no‑code/low‑code platforms.
  • Experience with wireframe and prototyping platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience supporting cross‑functional technology initiatives and collaborating with developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a law firm or with legal professionals, especially in immigration law, is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira and Scrum is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in staying current with emerging AI and technology trends.
