LPA is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Developer to support the continued growth of our Digital Product team within Inspire Design (), LPA’s unified technology organization. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual contributor who is passionate about building scalable digital products that support and enhance the collaborative work of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and master planners.

As a firmwide contributor, you will play a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of digital products that improve how LPA plans, designs, delivers, and manages projects. Your work will contribute to innovative, sustainable projects with lasting environmental, economic, and social value.

Job Description

Inspire Design is LPA’s integrated technology team, encompassing Design Technology (DT), Systems Technology (ST), Data and AI Technology (D+AI), Business Technology (BT), and Digital Product Development (Product).

As a member of the Digital Product team, the Senior Developer serves as a hands‑on contributor responsible for delivering high‑quality, user‑centered digital solutions. This role partners closely with the Digital Manager, product managers, designers, business stakeholders, and other technology teams to translate complex needs into intuitive, reliable, and scalable solutions.

This position emphasizes strong technical execution, collaboration, and mentorship within the team while supporting established development standards and best practices.

Experience Required
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, including building and supporting production‑grade digital products
  • Experience working in agile, product‑oriented development environments
  • Experience contributing to technical discussions and guiding development efforts within a team setting
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the technical design and development of firmwide digital products from concept through deployment and enhancement
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and secure code
  • Support and apply development standards, architecture patterns, and best practices established by the Digital Product team
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and technical approaches
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Partner with Inspire Design teams (DT, ST, D+AI, BT) to ensure thoughtful integration across platforms and systems
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of digital products in production environments
  • Participate in roadmap discussions, technical discovery, and iterative development efforts
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements

  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple initiatives
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong foundation in modern software development practices
  • Proficiency in full‑stack development technologies (e.g., JavaScript/Type Script, Python, web frameworks, APIs)
  • Experience working with on‑prem, SaaS, and cloud‑based platforms
  • Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
  • Understanding of data modeling, integrations, and system interoperability
  • Experience with UI/UX collaboration
  • Experience in the AEC industry is a plus
