Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Kubernetes Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Kubernetes Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Support team, ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of on-premises Kubernetes environments. Kubernetes Systems Engineer

Austin, TX - Hybrid Role

• Deploy, maintain, and scale on-premises Kubernetes clusters to support organizational needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full stack, including containers, pods, nodes, networking, and storage.
• Collaborate with application developers to identify and resolve deployment and runtime issues efficiently.
• Develop tools, operators, and automation to streamline workflows and enhance cluster operations.
• Monitor cluster performance and resource utilization, implementing improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.

• Proven experience managing on-prem Kubernetes clusters using tools like Kubeadm or RKE.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and containerd.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and storage related to Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Git Lab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or FluxCD.
