A Soft Serve team partners with a U.S. EdTech client to improve school district operations through AI platforms. We develop and refine AI‑driven features for our client that is a dynamic force in K‑12 education, delivering cutting‑edge communication and engagement solutions. They empower schools to effortlessly create and manage content, fostering stronger connections between educators, parents, and students. With their innovative platform, schools can enhance communication across digital channels, driving community engagement and enriching the educational experience.

We operate in a fast‑moving agile model, managing seasonal demand spikes, supporting internal and customer‑facing workflows, and maintaining high‑quality, observable AI systems. Our teams include Product Managers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, Designers, QAs, and Scrum Masters who foster agile maturity, remove delivery impediments, and drive team performance.

IF YOU ARE
  • A Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst strong in road‑mapping, planning, and initiative value definition
  • Strong in product analytics, interpreting usage data, defining success metrics, and influencing roadmap conversations
  • Solid in business analysis foundations: requirements, decomposition, prioritization, estimation methods, backlog clarity
  • Accustomed to Agile/Scrum methodology to facilitate ceremonies, sprint goal alignment, continuous improvement and partner with tech leads
  • Confident in stakeholder management across product, engineering, data science, and customer experience
  • Proactive, fast‑learning, and independent in working style
  • Aware of AI product lifecycle
  • Proficient in English, adept at running clear, structured client‑facing discussions for VP and Director‑level stakeholders
  • Curious about, or familiar with EdTech terminology (nice to have)
AND YOU WANT TO
  • Guide delivery of AI‑powered features while ensuring strong Scrum execution, team alignment, and removal of obstacles
  • Lead and facilitate sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives with intention and structure
  • Ensure AI observability practices (model monitoring, guardrails, drift alerts) are well‑integrated into backlog and delivery workflows
  • Own the requirement lifecycle from discovery to delivery
  • Strengthen team predictability through velocity tracking, cycle‑time analysis, sprint goal clarity, and operational KPIs
  • Support the Product Owner or Product Manager in organizing priorities, refining scope, and ensuring cross‑team readiness (partnership, inside, collaboration, regular PDMS sync‑ups)
  • Drive continuous improvement with data‑backed experimentation across both AI features and team processes
  • Contribute to a healthy team environment by coaching individuals, fostering transparency, and helping the team embody Agile values
